Two female teams from Russia will participate in World Cup for women in Sweden in October 2019. Russia was last year represented by Record from Irkutsk, the current owner of the prestigious World Cup Trophy.
Two Baikal teams will take part in the World Cup this fall. Record won the tournament in 2018 and will of course participate again. The other participating team will be Sibskana, and that will be the first time in World Cup in Sweden. Sibskana consists of young bandy players who will gain international experience when they meet the best club teams in the world.
To have two Russian female teams in World Cup in Sweden will make the tournament even more exciting this year.
