DYNAMO MOSCOW CUP CHAMPION IN RUSSIA!

Dynamo Moscow won the cup title when the final of the Russian Cup was decided in the Ice Palace Baikal in Irkutsk on Sunday, October 3. Final opponent was Vodnik and the teams offered an exciting final.

The tournament started August 1. Dynamo Moscow had reached the final by first winning Group West on 21 points before Vodnik on 18 points. In the second group called the Vostok Group, Kuzbass won by 15 points ahead of Yenisei by 12 points.

In the semifinals, Dynamo Moscow defeated Yenisei 5-4. Vodnik met Kuzbass in their semifinal and won 6-4.

VILLA LIDKÖPING CUP CHAMPION IN SWEDEN!

Villa Lidköping BK became cup champions in Sweden after a final victory over Edsbyns IF with 6-2 (3-0) in the final game. The tournament was decided last weekend, first with Round Robin games in two groups and then semifinals and final.

Villa Lidköping won Group A with a maximum of 6 points before Edsbyn 4 points, Västerås 2 points and Vetlanda 0 points. Group B was won by AIK on 6 points, Sandviken 4 points, Sirius 2 points and Vänersborg 0 points.

In the semifinals, Villa Lidköping beat Sandviken 4-3 and Edsbyn beat AIK 6-4.
