The Federation of International Bandy (FIB) has decided to postpone the 2022 Bandy World Championships in Russia after recommendations from International Sports Organizations. FIB Executive Committee made its decision that effects the Men’s World Championships in Syktyvkar and Y17 Boys World Championships in Kemerovo.
Russia will also not participate in the World Championships in Sweden. The tournaments that will be played in Sweden are the World Championship for Women in Åby, Y17 Girls in Lidköping and Y19 Boys in Katrineholm.
The FIB monitors the situation and will inform the bandy community according to the upcoming development.
