The final of the Russian Super League was played on Sunday, March 19. The final was played in the Erofey Arena in Khabarovsk. SKA Neftyanik won the championship after the final victory against Kuzbass with 3-1 after 1-0 at halftime.
On the way to the final, SKA Neftyanik defeated Ak Bars-Dynamo with two clear victories 11-2 and 11-3. In the semifinals, the team defeated Dynamo Moscow 2-1 in games after winning the first game 9-7, losing the second 9-5 and winning the deciding game 4-2.
Kuzbass made it to the final with a quarterfinal victory over Baikal Energy with 8-2 and 6-3. In the semi-finals it was tougher in the meeting with Vodnik. Vodnik won the first game 6-5 after extra time. Kuzbass then won the two subsequent matches 5-2 and 11-5.
