Ljusdal, Sweden 26-29 October
The tournament 2000 in Ljusdal was won by Västerås SK from Sweden, after a final victory against Yenisei from Krasnoyarsk in Russia with 2-
1 in the final match.
The final teams met each other already in the Round Robin stage and Västerås won 2-1 against Yenisei, the same result as in the final later. Västerås beat IFK Motala 4-2 in the quarter final and last years winner Hammarby IF by 3-2. Yenisei met Sandvikens AIK in the quarter final and won 2-1 and in the semi final the Russian team beat another Russian team, Vodnik. That game was exciting and ended 2-2 but Yenisei won by penalty shootout.
