Sandviken, Sweden, 10-13 October
The eight best teams from Sweden, the six best teams from Russia, Mikkelin Kampparit from Finland and Ljusdals BK from Sweden participated. The World Cup in Bandy was played in Göransson Arena for the fourth year in a row, with the exception of three matches during the first day of the tournament. These were played in Lidköping, Västerås and Ljusdal.
Zorkij won this World Cup tournament and beated Yenisei 3-0 in the final. Zorkij won two games in the Round Robin Group C against Kampparit, Finland 5-0 and Sandvikens AIK 3-1. The team played a draw against Kuzbass 4-4. In the quarterfinal Zorkij defeated Dynamo Kazan 3-1 and in the semi final Sandviken 5-4.
Yenisei played in Group A and came on second place after Kungälv. Yenisei won two games, Broberg 7-0 and Villa Lidköping 6-0 and a draw against Kungälv 2-2. In the quarter final the Russian team beat Dynamo Moscow in a penalty shootout and in the semi final Yenisei beat Västerås SK 4-1.
