Veiterä and Akilles participated from Finland, Yenisei, SKA Neftyanik, Start and Baikal Energy from Russia and Västerås SK, Hammarby IF, Edsbyns IF, Broberg/Söderhamn Bandy, Sandviken AIK, Villa Lidköping BK, Vetlanda BK, IFK Vänersborg, Bollnäs GoIF and IK Sirius defended the colors of Sweden.
Villa Lidköping BK and Sandvikens AIK qualified to the final. Villa won the tournament after winning the final 4-1 after 1-0 at half time.Â
Villa Lidköping was second team in Group B after Yenisei. Villa won two of three games in the Round Robin and that was against Västerås SK 4-1 and Finnish Veiterä 6-1. But Villa lost 2-5 against Yenisei. Villa advanced to semi final after winning the quarter final against Vänersborg 2-1 and in the semi final the team beat Russian Start 8-3.
Sandvikens AIK won Group D after two victories against Baikal Energy 3-1 and Broberg 5-1. Sandviken had a draw against Bollnäs 1-1. Sandviken won against Hammarby in the quarter final 4-2 and the semi final against SKA Neftyanik 3-2.
