The FIB Executive Committee held its recent meeting online preparing the upcoming Congress to be held on 8 June 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden. The EC discussed the different options for the arrangement of the 2025 FIB World Championships, including the period for B group, to be held in Sweden. As a further major step in its governance reforms, the FIB EC approved the By-Law on Athletes Committee, and the Terms of References for its Athletes, Education and Development, Gender Equity, Rules and Referees and Technical Committees.
Documents, including the Reports of the Executive Committee, General Secretary and Election Committee have been reviewed and approved to be sent out to the delegates in advance of the Congress.
In order to support greater transparency in FIB’s operation, the EC meeting minutes are always published after approval under the
Executive Committee.
