The Russian Super League is at the finals. The two semi-finals were completed on March 13 and 14 with the two decisive matches. Kuzbass made it to the final by defeating Vodnik in one of the semi-finals. It took three games to separate the teams. Vodnik won the first game at home 6-5 while Kuzbass won their home game 5-2. The third and decisive match was played at Kuzbass’ home arena in Kemerovo. The home team won with a clear 11-5 and made it to the final.
In the second semi-final, Dynamo Moscow and SKA Neftyanik met. Both teams first won both of their away games, although Dynamo’s home game was played in Krasnogorsk. There, SKa Neftyanik won 9-7. In the return match in Khabarovsk in SKA Neftyanik’s home arena, Dynamo Moscow won 9-5. The third and decisive match in the same arena was won by the home team SKA Neftyanik with 4-2.
The final will be played on Sunday, March 19, at 17.00 (GMT+10) between SKA Neftyanik and Kuzbass in Yerofey Arena in Khabarovsk. The match for third prize will be played in Arkhangelsk on Saturday, March 18, at 13.00 (GMT+3).
