The Slovakian captain Peter Benes was the first player to score in this years World Championships. He was assisted by Marian Korpas after only 1 min 20 sec in the opening game in Group B Pool B against Somalia. Two games started Monday at 8:30. The other opening game is played between Ukraine and Canada in Group B Pool A. First scorer in that game was Dmytro Tsymbal after 3 mins 41 sec. Now the World Championships has started!
