New FIB Committees in their first meetings

Inaugural Meeting of the FIB Education and Development Committee and Gender Equality Committee

Shortly after their nominations, both the FIB Education and Development Committee (EDC) and Gender Equality Committee (GEC) had their first meeting today on 30 April 2024 which meetings were initiated by FIB Acting General Secretary and Vice President, Attila Adamfi.

The purpose of the meetings was for the members to meet for the first time and discuss topics such as Proceedings of future meetings, receive information on the Terms of Reference of the EDC and GEC. 

The Committees also discussed and nominated a Chair for their Committees, which then will be approved by the FIB Executive Committee at their next meeting. 

Meetings were concluded by discussing the goals and objectives of the Committees and pinpoint challenges and areas where the work of the Committees will be the most crucial.

In addition, both Committees decided on their next meeting to further discuss their next steps as a Committee and further develop the sport of bandy.
