The World Championship 1971 was the seventh Championship in Bandy and was played in Sweden, 13-14 March. USSR won the tournament before Sweden and Finland.

The games were played in 12 Swedish cities; Eskilstuna, Gothenburg, Katrineholm, Lidköping, Motala, Oxelösund, Skövde, Stockholm, Uppsala, Vänersborg, Västerås and Örebro.
