OLS Uleåborg, Finland was the first foreign winner of the Cup. The victory in the final game was against Västerås SK 3-2. OLS came to Ljusdal without having played a single match on a big ice. But it didn’t show. In the first match against the home team LBK, the Finns made a big impression and won 5-1. Then the team continued.
