The final game of the tournament was played between two Swedish clubs, Hammarby IF and Sandvikens AIK. Hammarby won 4-1.
Hammarby showed this years quality already in the Round Robin games by winning all games against the Swedish teams Boltic and Broberg and also against the Russian Yenisei.Â
Sandviken had two exciting games against two Russian teams. The quarter final against Vodnik ended 1-1 and the semi final against Yenisei ended 2-2. Sandviken won the penalty shootouts in both those games.Â
Hammarby won the quarter final meeting Bollnäs 5-1 and the semi final when Hammarby met Västerås SK the team from Stockholm won 5-2.
