This Women’s Bandy World Cup was the fourth edition of the tournament played in Edsbyn indoor arena, Sweden and was won by Sandvikens AIK, Sweden, who in the final defeated IFK Nässjö, Sweden, 2-1 . It was Sandviken’s second straight win in the tournament.
Sandviken won all three games in the Round Robin, Tranås 16-1, Ready from Norway and 12-1 against Record from Russia. In the semi final Sandviken beat Edsbyns IF 4-1.
Nässjö’s way to the final was a win against Ready 10-0, a draw against Record 4-4 and nother win against Tranås 5-1. In the semi final Nässjö beat Västerstrand, but after a penalty shootout as the game ended 1-1.
The game for bronze medal was played between Västerstrand and Edsbyn. It was a 1-1 draw but Västerstrand won after a penalty shootout.
