FIB TV – the new bandy platform!

FIB now present the history of international bandy in two parts, both available on the FIB website. “FIB Event History” is the history in statistics, stories and pictures since the first World Championship 1957. The second half of the project is “FIB TV”. As you understand by the name, FIB TV is bandy to watch, so far video documentation. FIB TV is made in collaboration with StayLive, currently one of the leading streaming providers in Europe, located in Sweden.

FIB TV includes full match videos and highlights from World Championship tournaments and World Cup tournaments that has been available for FIB. It is now a platform including recorded videos, but has the possibility to be a full scale platform for live webcast events.

FIB TV contains videos from the tournaments that has been available for FIB, broadcast/webcast and stored in archives. Unfortunately, it is far from complete as many tournaments has only been live broadcasted, not broadcasted at all or not archived. But from the 2024-2025 season all international tournaments will be 100% archived. The archive will be continuously replenished.

FIB TV is easy to complete and develop. The FIB ambition is to find more videos from tournaments back in time. Then FIB TV can reflect a larger part of the history. Therefore, FIB is curious to find videos from past tournaments, entire matches, highlights or other videos that in one way or another bring the bandy memories to life.

Attila Adamfi

Attila Adamfi, FIB General Secretary:
-As already announced during the recent Congress, we created the platform to collect, store and publish all the available video footage from past FIB events. This is also a huge step respecting our rich history and provide the videos from our great bandy matches for our stakeholders, including members, fans and media.

-This platform not only promotes the videos of the matches, but it is also linked to FIB Event History providing a comprehensive service. Dive into our history and enjoy the best of bandy, concludes Attila Adamfi.

You reach the video archive by clicking FIB TV or go via the main menu on worldbandy.com.
