The FIB Executive Committee held its first online meeting since the Congress on 24 June 2024.Â
The EC discussed several topics, the most important one being the organization of the 2025 FIB World Championships and the negotiation process with the Swedish Bandy Federation. As per the decision of the EC, the intention is to organize the Men (both A and B group) and Women World Championships during the same period, preferably in March.
The EC also received an update on all ongoing projects since the Congress, including the closing of the financial year, outstanding amounts and participation in the Olympic Day campaign.
Following the elections, the membership of the standing Committees will be reviewed, and the creation of the Marketing Committee was agreed.
In order to support greater transparency in FIB’s operation, the EC meeting minutes are always published after approval under the Executive Committee.
