The USA bandy club team SISU defended the title in the final game in Jamison Cup. SISU won against Mammoths 2-0.
The inaugural of US Women’s Bandy Championship was arranged a year ago. These teams met at the same battle at that time. SISU won the trophy and defended it last night February 26. SISU and Mammoths have met three times during the 2023-24 regular season. The Mammoths won, 2-0 on opening night, but SISU scored the next two victories, winning 5-0 in December and 2-0 just two weeks ago.
Both teams have elite goal scorers. The Mammoths have Amy Stech, whose shot is dangerous from any place on the ice. She leads her team with five goals on the season. SISU has the fastest bandy player, maybe in the world, in Allie Thunstrom. Allie is also leading her team with five goals during the season.
After last nights victory by 2-0, the SISU team is still reigning Champions in womens bandy in USA.
